Rain on the Tube - Blooming June

Yesterday saw almost continuous rain in London and the London Underground when it's raining isn't a very pleasant place.

Kew Gardens Station in the rain

Once you're inside you're battling with wet umbrellas, wet raincoats, slippery floors and that nasty dank smell of wet clothes in a confined hot space.

At least the woman below had a reasonably summery look with her chirpy Cath Kidston bag and regulation wellingtons.

Good London weather outfit

There were a lot of wellington boots in sight yesterday as though Glastonbury had come early and transferred itself to Hyde Park.
